MRDA ANNOUNCES A CHANGE IN VENUE FOR ITS 2014 CHAMPIONSHIPSDue to unforeseen circumstances, the MRDA 2014 Championships is unable to held at its original location. The new location will be: Tacoma Roller Sports at the Tacoma Armory 715 S 11th Street Tacoma, WA
This change though inconvenient, is actually very positive for the event, in that this is a larger venue- which can accommodate an additional warm-up space, more locker room space, additional vendors, and more seats for spectators. We will also now be offering day passes and you can buy tickets at the door.
What this change means for you– if you are flying in to Seattle airport, you are still OK. The new venue is equidistant to the airport (just in the opposite direction) as the previous venue.
If you have made a reservation at the Hotel Nexus (old host hotel), and if this reservation was made directly with the hotel, you will be able to cancel this reservation without penalty.
With the change in venue being so close to the day of the event, Puget Sound Outcast Derby has assigned Hunter as a travel coordinator. He is familiar with the city and is coordinating with persons in the area to assist with travel plans and to answer any questions you might have in relation to how the change in venue affects you. Please send questions and comments to [email protected]
