MDC 2010 Championships Scheduled for 10/17 in Hagerstown, MD

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

October 1, 2010 – The very first Men’s Derby Coalition championship game is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 17th at Turner’s Skate Palace in Hagerstown, MD. The inaugural season of battle between the Connecticut Death Quads, Harm City Homicide, New York Shock Exchange, and Pioneer Valley Dirty Dozen climaxes on this historic evening. The bout for 3rd place between the Homicide and the Death Quads will kicks things off. Then the Dirty Dozen and the Shock Exchange will play for the final victory. Only one will skate away with the coveted Athletic Cup Championship Trophy.

The rankings of the teams are determined by win-loss records from the 12 game season. Ranking ties between two teams will be broken by point differential in head-to-head matchups. In the event that two or more teams are tied for the same spot, the total point differential for all games in the season will determine the team on top.
